Suxian Industrial Development Zone has been approved as a provincial-level high-tech industrial development zone.
Suxian Industrial Development Zone was established in 2012 and is a provincial-level industrial park. In 2017, it was rated as a provincial-level “mass entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base”. In 2023, it was rated as a provincial-level green park and was approved as a collaborative linkage zone of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It was awarded an excellent unit for safety production and fire protection work in the province in 2023, and won the first prize in the construction of “Five Good Parks” in Chenzhou in 2023.
A development pattern has been formed, including Qifengdu and Wulipai main areas, as well as Liangtian and Feitian Mountain sub-areas. The Wulipai and Qifengdu main areas focus on developing industries such as equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and new energy and materials. The Liangtian area mainly develops the green new building materials industry. The Feitian Mountain area is centered on the energy recycling industry.
With the total investment of more than 4 billion yuan, the park roads, more than 340,000 square meters of standard factory buildings, public rental housing, water plants, sewage treatment plants, fire stations and other supporting facilities have been built in the main areas.
There are currently 188 enterprises in the park, including 40 industrial enterprises above designated size, 33 high-tech enterprises, and 16 “little giant” enterprises.
